The Improvisational Church: Who's in Charge Here? - (Jenny Morgan)In the Book of Acts, we witness the good news moving fast and furious from Jerusalem to Rome and beyond. In Acts 18 we see geographic and theological movement as we watch Paul and Aquila and Priscilla explaining clearly the way of the crucified Christ. We also learn of Apollos and the growth and development of the Corinthian churches. The good news always moves outward toward more people. It doesn't stay put in one place. The good news consistently makes room for all variety of diversity. Asking who is in charge? is indeed the right question, but reflection on the question may turn up answers we don't expect.
